Context
We're working with a company in the insurance space. They're launching a new AI product this fall, then moving their enterprise customers onto it starting in Q1. They're looking for a hands-on technical program manager to run day-to-day delivery for two product pods. Each pod has a PM, a designer and engineers, and both work closely with customer success. You'll report to the VP of Technical Operations, a former TPM. Expect high autonomy and a close partnership with him.
The work is about 80% tactical: chasing tickets, driving escalations to closure, keeping plans current and surfacing risk early. After launch, you'll build the integrated plan for the customer migrations.
About You
Roughly in order of importance:
- You have 4-7 years of technical program or project management experience
- You're comfortable discussing APIs, integrations, data flows, rollout/rollback and failure modes with engineers
- You've delivered at least one customer migration, enterprise implementation or complex rollout in B2B software
- You love tactical execution and are happy chasing tickets and escalations to closure
- You're comfortable in low-process, fast-moving environments and keep process lightweight
- You know agile fundamentals: running sprints, writing and sizing user stories
- You have hands-on experience with AI agents (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) in your own work
