Context:

We're working with a startup that helps consumers minimize their data footprint on the internet.

We're in the process of helping them establish their analytics infrastructure and are looking for a data engineer who can help us get their data into snowflake. We anticipate this involving fivetran, custom ETLs, and change data capture.

They have around 40 engineers and a dedicated ops team, they're currently on redshift but moving to snowflake, they're not using dbt yet, and don't really have a BI tool, they have a dedicated ops team but that team is swamped so you'd need to be able to tackle your own infra-related needs.

We'd like for this person to also be comfortable doing some basic work in dbt, though we anticipate the vast majority (80%+) of the work here being ETL focused.

You'd be reporting into a fractional, analytics-focused data lead we placed over there a few weeks back.
