Context:
We're working with a company building a product to support public housing applications in NYC. The product applicants, leasing managers, and includes a voice + text based AI agent that can answer basic questions about applications.
The team is looking for a design-focused frontend engineer to own the design system end-to-end with an AI-native skillset. This will include building the foundational elements and design system library and working with the engineering lifecycle to incorporate wireframes and mockup artifacts into the live application. You'd be working directly with the CEO with a lean engineering team (~4 people).
You will bring expertise using AI-assisted design tools to increase the team's velocity and you should have enough technical ability to develop, integrate, and test your designs on a real version of the application yourself.
About You:
Roughly in order of importance:
- You thrive when using AI-assisted design and development tools
- You have built aesthetically beautiful and functional components with React
- You have previously owned a design system library or created wireframes and mockups
- You have experience building and deploying front end web apps in production
- You have 7+ years of experience
