Context:
We're working with consulting firm that embeds forward deployed data engineers and resident solution architects with their clients.
You’ll be deployed to client sites to steer, design, and implement Databricks projects including migrations and new data architecture designs. You'd work alongside the platform's field teams and the partner's delivery leadership.
The work leans toward data architecture - designing, leading platform migrations (e.g., moving a customer off a legacy warehouse like Teradata onto a modern lakehouse), and being the technical advisor to stakeholders.
About You
Roughly in order of importance:
- You have Python experience
- You have Spark/Scala experience
- You have data architecture experience
- You have experience working in a consulting environment
- You have 8+ years of experience
