Context
We're working with a company in the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation market. You will be helping build the platform which coordinates logistics for everything from standard ambulatory rides to wheelchair, gurney, and ALS/BLS services. In this role, you'll be building highly performant backend systems and frontend sites that scale. The work will be largely cross-functional, so you can expect coordination with other engineering teams, product, and design.
They're looking for folks who are comfortable across the entire stack, from designing and implementing database schemas to building out react components. Ideal candidates will also have a track record of establishing SLDC best practices and have a keen eye for platform reliability. Their engineering org has ~30 people. You'll report into their engineering manager.
About You
Roughly in order of importance:
- You have experience with Node.js
- You have experience with React (React Native is a plus)
- You're savvy with relational and key-value DBs (DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL)
- You have modernized legacy systems or replatformed off legacy
- You have worked with CloudWatch or FullStory to leverage metrics and logs
- You've set up CI/CD pipelines
- You have 7+ years of experience
