Context:
We’re working with a company that is streamlining the workflows of insurance companies using AI. They’re just over a year old, have multiple paying enterprise customers, and have raised over $20M.
Their core product is a ~20 step LLM-based workflow that consumes a series of statistical data sets and produces as output an analysis of that data. They are looking for a strong backend engineer to come in and help them iterate on this core product.
You’d be doing things like building and hardening services that are called out to as a part of this workflow, debugging, modifying, and improving the workflow itself, and improving the reliability of specific steps in the flow.
You’d be working along side 4 other engineers on the AI team and reporting into their Head of AI. The engineering team as a whole is around 12 people and is distributed across latin america and the states.
About You
Roughly in order of importance:
- You have backend engineering experience
- You have python experience
- You have experience with service oriented architecture
- You have 5+ years experience
- Nice to have - ML Ops or NLP xp
