Context:
We’re working with a fintech company that builds technology to support hedge funds and other types of institutional investors. Their CTO is transitioning out and working with us to help hire in a fractional replacement.
They’re looking for someone who can help provide technical oversight over a small team of ~6 engineers. This would involve working with their lead engineer to help plan out some of the larger changes they need to make to the application in the coming year as well review occasional PRs for non-trivial changes.
In particular, they’re looking for someone with backend/django exposure and viewing meaningful react exposure as more of a nice-to-have.
About You
Roughly in order of importance:
- You have django experience
- You have experience working as technical lead at early stage startups
- You have consulting experience
- You have 8+ years experience
