Context:
We’re working with a company that’s building a product to facilitate transactions in the secondary markets for stock in pre-IPO VC-backed startups. They launched their product in June and have already facilitated 10s of millions of dollars in transactions.
We’re looking for a VP Eng to come in and manage their engineering team of four. They are using elixir/phoenix, absinthe, react and apollo. They’re looking for someone who can help support the engineers as they develop additional features and also facilitate some improvements on the ops / infrastructure front.
You’d be working along side three other folks from Forward including a fractional CTO/CPO who’s shifting away from hands on management of the engineering org. If things are going well after a few months and you’d be open to joining the company as an employee that’d be an option here.
About You
Roughly in order of importance:
- Have experience working at early stage startups
- Have experience managing engineers
- Have experience interfacing with and/or owning product
- Have elixir experience
- Have react experience
- Have 10+ years experience
